Eleven merchant shipping companies are awarded US Transportation Command contracts for work expected to end 31, August 2013

The contracts are summarized and listed as follows:

  •  Maersk Line, Ltd., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $2,100,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services.
  •  American President Lines, Ltd., Inc., Washington, D.C., is being awarded a $1,700,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services.             
  •  American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier, L.L.C., Park Ridge, N.J., is being awarded a $553,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services. 
  •  Farrell Lines, Inc., Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a $565,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services.
  •  Liberty Global Logistics, L.L.C., Lake Success, N.Y., is being awarded a $362,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services. 
  •   Hapag-Lloyd USA, L.L.C., Tampa, Fla., is being awarded a $338,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services.
  •   Central Gulf Lines, Inc., Mobile, Ala., is being awarded a $142,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services. 
  •    Foss International, Inc., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $51,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services. 
  •    Matson Navigation Co., Inc., Oakland, Calif., is being awarded a $39,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services. 
  •     Sealift, Inc., Oyster Bay, N.Y., is being awarded a $25,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services. 
  •     Transatlantic Lines, Greenwich, Conn., is being awarded a $15,600,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity fixed-price contract for international ocean and intermodal distribution services.
