Rucker Named President of Tideworks

Tideworks Technology Inc., a full-service provider of terminal management and planning software solutions, announced that Thomas J. “T.J.” Rucker will assume the role of president effective September 1, 2017, succeeding retiring president Michael Schwank, who led the company for 19 years. Rucker will relocate to Seattle in August to ensure a smooth transition into the role. Rucker is currently vice president of operations at Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT), one of the largest container terminals in Latin America, where he is responsible for managing liner customer relationships, strategic planning and ensuring terminal productivity and KPI performance.

Dale Schwieger Promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations

Marex, Inc., a software products and technology services company offering electronic commerce and management information solutions to a wide range of businesses across multiple industries, today announced that Dale Schwieger has been promoted to senior vice president, operations. In this new capacity, Schwieger will oversee all aspects of the company's operations including information technology, products and services, systems integration, sales and marketing, and business development. Schwieger joined Marex in August 2000 and has served the company in a number of technology roles including vice president, systems integration, where he led the development and management of Marex's systems integration solutions.

WNI Oceanroutes Welcomes New President

WNI Oceanroutes welcomed its new president and CEO, Jeremy Usher in October. Usher spent five years with WNI Oceanroutes in various business management and technology roles, most recently as chief information officer. In 1998, he left the company to complete his MBA from Duke University and subsequently worked for a venture capital firm, a consulting firm and a new wireless telecommunications venture. “I am extremely pleased that Jeremy has returned to lead WNI’s American sales and global marine operations,” said WNI Group Global CEO, Hiro Ishibashi.
