American Commercial Lines Inc. announced the appointment of Rich Mitchell as Senior Vice President Corporate Strategy. Mitchell brings many years of business leadership, acquisition and strategic planning skills to the Company. He worked for more than 20 years with United Parcel Service of America, Inc. in positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville and a Master in Business Administration degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.


New Appointments at Keppel Strengthen Growth

Leendert Muller, managing director of leading towage and salvage specialist Multraship, has been appointed the new president of the International Salvage Union (ISU). The appointment was confirmed at the annual general meeting of the ISU in Hong Kong on October 24, 2013. Muller, who has been a member of the ISU Executive Committee since 2008, and vice-president since 2011, succeeds Andreas Tsavliris, who will continue as a member of the ISU Executive Committee.
