Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Inc., Walpole, Mass., is being awarded a $7,030,097 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development of Nickel Boron (NiB) Coatings for Naval Propulsion Systems
to minimize corrosion. Work will be performed in Pascagoula, Miss., (75 percent) and Stuart, Fla. (25 percent), and work is expected to be completed by Jan. 2013. Contract funds in the amount of $3,563,860 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
