Liftboat to be Christened

Superior Energy Services’ Marine Services Division will christen its new 175-ft class liftboat, the Superior Future, on Friday, June 27 at Marine Industrial Fabrication at
Connie Babin, ’s Marine Services Division traffic coordinator, will perform the christening. 
The Superior Future has modern features, technology and design unique to its class including a 100-ton, 100-ft boom crane more commonly seen on larger vessels and a larger working deck and deckload. In addition, the vessel’s accommodations were designed and built with maximum comfort and efficiency for customer representatives.

Two 265-ft liftboats will join ’s fleet in late 2008 to early 2009. The liftboats are complementary to ’s well intervention services and are specially outfitted to deliver production-related bundled services in support of customers’ construction, maintenance and production enhancement projects.
