In order to better accommodate growing cargo volumes between the U.S., Mexico
and Central America, Crowley Maritime Corp.
is implementing several service enhancements this month that are beneficial to its customers.
The company will add a third RoRo vessel to its service between Gulfport, Miss. and Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and El Salvador during November. The addition of the new vessel will allow for a sailing every three days, instead of every five days, as well as boost available capacity in this Crowley trade lane by 50 percent.
Crowley will also add a larger RoRo vessel between Port Everglades in South Florida and various Central American ports
this month. The service features three weekly, fixed-day sailings. Vessel capacity will be increased about 13 percent of approximately 55 FEUs per week with this addition.
