China Rolls Out 2020 Shipping Development Plans

 The Ministry of Transport, China has released a development guidance to establish a modern shipping service system by 2020 and to boost the development of the shipping industry.

With the aim to establish a modern shipping service system by 2020 and to boost the development of the shipping industry. China’s ministry of transport released a seven-page guideline "roadmap to 2020"

China looks to improve the nation’s ship trading service and shipping financial serviceby strengthening its shipping law capabilities and sharpening technology and innovation. The country will focus on improving its policies to benefit shipping enterprises with shipping index services and ship technology services, and perfect regulations on the shipping service industry.
 
China also plans to accelerate the construction of Shanghai international shipping hub, and develop Tianjin, Dalian and Xiamen as regional shipping hubs, and speed up the development of shipping hubs along the Yangtze river including Wuhan and Chongqing.
