Bourbon Financial Report: Revenues Up

Greater demands from clients in terms of safety, reliability of operations, crew skills and transparency can only increase the value of our offer of services and vessels. 2010 saw the launch of the BOURBON 2015 Leadership Strategy plan and the finalization of BOURBON’s refocus on oil and gas services. The new business structure is in place and, day after day, the staff teams are rallying together to deliver the actions needed to achieve our objectives.

Bourbon Quarterly Financial Information

“In a market environment that continues to be difficult, Bourbon can today report third-quarter 2010 revenue growth of 6.4%. This confirms the upturn in our Offshore activity, announced previously and already in evidence in the second quarter. It also confirms our strategic choices and reflects our unique positioning on the market. Our clients are enthusiastic about the new BOURBON vessels which are proving to be more innovative, safer and capable of keeping their operating costs down,” said Jacques de Chateauvieux, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Bourbon. “Bourbon predicted a gradual recovery in the oil companies’ activity in the second half of 2010 and more substantial growth in 2011. The activity of the third quarter confirms this trend.

Bourbon Contract, 13 Vessels for Petrobras

Bourbon Offshore Maritima, formerly Delba Maritima Navegação, the Bourbon subsidiary in Brazil, signed contracts with Petrobras for 13 new vessels. The contracts cover: - One Bourbon Liberty 200, an 80-tonne traction AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessel), for three years from May 2010; - Seven Bourbon Liberty 100, a PSV (Platform Supply Vessel), for four years. These vessels will be put into service between June and October 2010; - Five 59-ft passenger transport crew boats, for eight years. These vessels will join other vessels of the same type that have already been working for Petrobras in Brazil for two years and have given full satisfaction.

Keppel FELS Unit Secures Contracts

Keppel FELS Limited (KFELS), the offshore arm of the Keppel Group, through its subsidiary in Brazil, FELS Setal SA, has signed two contracts worth a total of $104 million. These jobs bring FELS Setal’s total contracts secured to $250 million since its incorporation 18 months ago. The first job clinched is the $90 million contract for three Anchor Handling Tugs / Supply vessels (AHTS) for Delba Maritima, a Brazilian offshore vessel operator. This follows the Letter of Intent recently announced on October 30, 2001. Rolls-Royce Gets Offshore Vessel Contracts

Rolls-Royce has won contracts worth $76 million to supply design and equipment packages for nine offshore service vessels which will be built in four different shipyards for owners in Brazil, France, Norway and the U.S. The ship designs and packages of Rolls-Royce equipment will be supplied in 2002 and 2003, and the shipyards, located in Brazil, Denmark and Norway are scheduled to deliver the vessels in 2003 and 2004. There are currently 71 offshore service vessels of the type UT-Design from Rolls Royce on order or under construction around the world. Faster Than A Speeding...

The technology to cost efficiently discover and recover oil and gas in increasingly deeper part of the Gulf of Mexico has quickly led to the development of bigger, stronger and more ruggedly equipped Offshore Service Vessels, not only on drawings boards but operating on the waterways. The discovery of oil and gas fields such as Auger, Marlim and Mars, have among others, highlighted the vast potential for drilling success and the inadequacy of the current fleet of OSVs to perform the job as cost effectively as possible.

Sperry Marine to Supply For Vessels in Brazil

Northrop Grumman Corporation's Sperry Marine business unit has recently won orders to supply navigation electronics for four new marine vessels in Brazil. 2,500 gross ton vessels being built at the Fels Setal shipyard in Rio de Janeiro for Delba Maritima Navegacao. The company will provide interswitched BridgeMaster E 250 and 340 radars, a gyrocompass, autopilot, speed log, echosounder, anemometer and differential global positioning system (DGPS). The three new anchor-handling tugs are scheduled for completion in 2003 and 2004. Sperry Marine will also supply an integrated bridge system for a new tugboat being built at Eisa shipyard in Rio de Janeiro for Norsul.
