Resolve's New Orleans Ops & Director of Regulatory Affairs
Resolve Marine Group has opened a New Orleans base of operations at 643 Magazine Street, Suite 304. The marine salvage, firefighting and emergency response company is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and maintains operations in Theodore, Ala., as well as London, UK and in Singapore. The New Orleans location strengthens Resolve’s commitment to the maritime industry in the Gulf states and expands the marine salvor’s reach along the Gulf Coast and into the Mississippi River corridor. Since April, Resolve has operated a fleet of more than 100 vessels out of Theodore, Ala.
Resolve Marine Offers OPA-90 Guidance
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, July 27, 2010 - Resolve Marine Group and Five Oceans Salvage presented the new United States’ OPA-90 regulations governing all tank vessels entering U.S. waters, on July 14, 2010 in Athens, Greece. Tanker and cargo ship owners, representatives and managers attended a reception hosted by Athens based Five Oceans Salvage and a presentation by Resolve Marine Group, a U.S. based salvage and marine firefighting company, to learn about the new requirements which are effective February 22, 2011. Resolve: “All In” on GOM Skimming Ops
Resolve Marine Group has deployed its fleet of vessels to serve the pollution prevention and oil skimming operations in the Gulf of Mexico. Resolve has been operating out of its Theodore, Alabama port since the explosion on the Deepwater Horizon oil rig on April 20, 2010. Resolve was initially deployed to support the firefighting effort on the Deepwater Horizon rig and has since deployed more than 50 vessels and floating assets in support of the oil spill skimming and clean-up activities, as a subcontractor to BP.
