Tunisia Seeks to Boost Capacities for Cruise sShips
Plans to extend facilities at Tunis' La Goulette port for cruise ships were November 6th. Sakhr El Matri, president of Goulette Shipping, saidd that a new 640-metre long dock and a tourist village will be built for 19m euros. The port's capacity will be increased 70 % by 2010 for 2 million cruise passengers a year, as compared to current capacity of 500,000 visitors.
