Computer Aided Robotics Welding
CAD/CAM software maker SSI said it is developing solutions for Computer Aided Robotics Welding (CAR-W) consistent with its recent innovations in the area of 3D weld management. This research project is under the aegis of the U.S. Navy’s National Shipbuilding Research Program (NSRP). ESG to Launch First Ship Designed with FORAN
Eastern Shipbuilding Group (ESG), a shipbuilder based in Panama City, Fla., is due to launch the HARVEY SUB-SEA in November 6, marking the launch of the shipyard’s first vessel designed with the FORAN CAD/CAM System developed by the engineering and technology group SENER.
