Water, dirt and salt play havoc with mated surfaces. Engineered to perform in harsh outdoor environments, Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube are suited for use as wear plates.

According to its manufacturer, Vesconite is an internally-lubricated polymer that excels in dirty and high-friction applications. Unlike nylon, it has high dimensional stability and does not swell or soften when immersed in water or other fluids. It has high load-bearing qualities.

Sharing the same qualities as Vesconite, Hilube is engineered for ultra-long life and requires little, if any, maintenance. It can be used completely dry, or submerged. Hilube is bright white in color and has no stick-slip in highly-loaded applications.

Easily machined to close tolerances, the products are suited for slides, guides, wears and machine tool bedways and slideways. Vesconite offers both Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube as final precision-machined part and pieces, or easily-tooled raw materials.

Vesconite and Vesconite Hilube are offered for immediate shipment in a wide selection of dimensions and thicknesses, with tolerances of +0.012"/-0.000". Special production orders are available. The company ships domestically from its Texas warehouse.
