The government announced in a Thursday bulletin that the oil output in Guyana remained almost the same last month, at 664,000 barrels of crude per day. This led to an annual average of 643,000 barrels of crude per day in the first seven-month period of this year.

After a new floating facility began production, the South American nation's oil capacity is expected to exceed 900,000 barrels per day later this year.

According to data, the output in the January-July last year period was 595,000 Bpd.

According to the central banking, Guyana's revenue for the month of February was $218 million. This brings the total amount earned by the country this year up to $1.4 billion. (Reporting and editing by Leslie Adler, Daniel Wallis, and Kemol King)
