The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.

The deadline to submit price offers for the tender is 24 June.

The traders had anticipated an announcement following Jordan's purchase of 60,000 tons during its previous tender on 120,000 tons wheat held on Tuesday.

The new tender seeks to ship 50,000-60,000 tons of consignments in various combinations between October 1-15. October 16-30. November 1-15. and November 16-30.

On Wednesday, a separate tender for 120,000 tons animal feed barley from Jordan will also be closed. Michael Hogan reported, Barbara Lewis edited.
