The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.

The deadline to submit price offers for the tender is October 21, 2010.

The traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender of 120,000 tons wheat Tuesday, which Jordan bought 60,000 tons.

The new tender seeks to ship 60,000-ton consignments between January 1-15; January 16-31; February 1-15; and February 16-18 in 2026.

Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons animal feed barley, which closes this Wednesday. (Reporting and editing by Louise Heavens, Michael Hogan)
