The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from optional origins.

The deadline to submit price proposals in the tender is 28 October.

Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.

The new tender seeks to ship 60,000 tons of consignments between January 1-15. January 16-31. February 1-15. and February 16-18.

The same shipping periods were requested in the tender on Tuesday.

Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons animal feed barley, which closes this Wednesday. Michael Hogan reported, Elaine Hardcastle edited.
