The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from a variety or origins. European traders confirmed this on Wednesday.

The deadline for submitting price offers is September 2.

The traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender of 120,000 tons wheat Tuesday, which Jordan bought 60,000 tons.

The tender seeks to ship in combinations of consignments between 50,000 and 60,000 tons from October 1-15, 16-31, 1-15 November, 16-30.

The same shipping periods were requested as in the tender on Tuesday.

Jordan also published a separate tender for 120,000 tons animal feed barley, which closes on Wednesday. (Reporting and editing by Tomaszjanowski, Michael Hogan)
