European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan's state grain buyer had issued an international tender for the purchase of up to 120,000 tons of animal feed barley.

Price offers must be submitted by August 13th.

Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender on barley, which was only attended by one trading house and involved 120,000 tons, failed to attract any bidders.

The new tender seeks to ship in combinations of consignments between 50,000 and 60,000 tons from September 16-30, 1-15 October, 16-31 October, 1-15 November.

The same shipping periods are listed as those in the Wednesday's bid.

Jordan also released a separate tender for the purchase of up to 120,00 tons of wheat. The tender closes on August 12. Michael Hogan (Reporting) Editing by David Goodman
