European traders reported on Thursday that Jordan's state grain buyer has issued a tender for the purchase of up to 120,00 metric tons animal feed barley.

The deadline to submit price proposals in the tender is 29 October.

Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons barley in its previous tender on Wednesday.

The new tender will be shipped in various combinations of consignments between December 1-15, 2025 and December 31-2025 and also between January 1-15, 2026 and January 16-31 2026.

Jordan also published a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons milling wheat, which closes on 28 October. (Reporting and editing by Susan Fenton, Michael Hogan)
