Jordanian traders report that the country has issued a tender for up to 120,000 tons of wheat.
The state grain buyer of Jordan has announced an international tender for up to 120,000 tons of milling whey that can come from a variety or origins. European traders confirmed this on Wednesday.
The deadline for submitting price offers is October 14.
Traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan failed to purchase 120,000 tons wheat in its previous tender on Tuesday.
The new tender seeks to ship 60,000 tons of consignments between January 1 and 15, January 16 and 31, February 1 to 15, and February 16 through 28 in 2026.
Jordan has also released a separate tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons animal feed barley, which closes this Wednesday. (Reporting and editing by Louise Heavens, Michael Hogan)
