Jordanian traders report that the country has issued a tender for up to 120,000 tons of wheat.
HAMBURG - On Wednesday, European traders reported that Jordan's state grain purchaser has launched an international tender for up to 120,000 metric tonnes of milling wheat from any origin.
The deadline to submit price proposals in the tender is November 18
The traders had expected a new announcement after Jordan's previous tender of 120,000 tons wheat Tuesday, which Jordan bought 60,000 tons.
The new tender will seek to ship in 2026 a number of combinations of 60,000-ton consignments between January 1-15, 16-31 and 16-28.
The same period of shipment was also requested in the tender on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, a separate Jordanian tender for 120,000 tonnes of animal feed barley will also be closed.
