Manager citing data: Arctic LNG 2 has delivered its first cargo
A senior manager from the majority shareholder said on Thursday that Russia's Arctic LNG 2 has delivered its first LNG shipment, citing data from ship tracking.
As you can see, the first vessel entered China according to data.
Data from Kpler showed that China had received its first LNG cargo, from the sanctioned Russian Project, a few days before Vladimir Putin met with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
The Arctic project started production in December 2023. However, it is currently behind schedule with the delivery of cargoes due to a shortage of ice class gas carriers and Western sanction over Russia's conflict in Ukraine.
