Russian Navy practices defending themselves against "underwater saboteurs" in Baltic Sea
The defence ministry announced on Friday that Russian forces conducted an exercise in Baltic Sea, including drills for repelling an underwater attack.
The ministry reported that units of divers "demonstrated their skills in detecting, capturing and using FPV drones (first-person view) to destroy unmanned vessels of a mock opponent".
It said that the drills were part of a test to assess the anti-submarine defence units.
After Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said that he had banned submarines on August 1, Russia held a naval exercise with an anti-submarine element.
