Saudi Arabia seeks 420,000 tons of wheat in a tender
General Food Security Authority said Thursday that Saudi Arabia had issued a tender for the purchase of 420,000 metric tonnes of hard milling grain.
GFSA stated in a press release that the delivery of wheat with a 12.5% protein content is planned for December to January.
Offers must be received by Friday.
GFSA said it is looking to deliver to several ports. It wants to send 120,000 tonnes to Jeddah and 180,000 tons each to Yanbu, Dammam and Yanbu.
The agency is looking for consignments between December 1 and 15 of 60,000 tonnes each.
In May, GFSA purchased 621,000 tonnes of wheat for delivery between August and October.
