Sources say that the exports of Russian ESPO Blend oil from Kozmino are expected to fall by 2% in September.

Two sources familiar with the plans said that Russia will reduce ESPO Blend oil loads from its Far East Kozmino Port in September from 4.2 millions tons to 4,000,000 metric tons (about one million barrels per a day), from 4.2million tons in August.

Calculations showed that ESPO loadings at Kozmino would drop by a little under 2% per day in September compared with August.

Oil exports have increased from Kozmino Port since July. They have remained stable at around 1 million bpd, as the pipeline system has been upgraded and the port capacity has been increased.

ESPO Blend, the flagship Russian oil grade, is destined for Asian markets. Russia is trying to load as much oil for the East, since European countries have banned its energy supply since 2022. Reporting by
