South Korea's MFG purchases 65,000-75, 000 T corn in a private deal, traders claim

Major Feedmill Group of South Korea (MFG) bought between 65,000 and 75,000 metric tonnes of animal feed corn on Thursday in a deal that was not subject to an international tender.

The cost of the ton was estimated at $235.12, including freight. A $1.50 extra charge for port unloading was added.

The exact volume of the shipment was to be declared before August 31. Arrival in South Korea was scheduled for around November 25,

On Thursday, South Korean importer NOFI purchased corn at an international auction.

The reports reflect the opinions of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later.
