The differentials between Caspian and Urals crude oil remained unchanged on Friday, in a'mild' market. Russia -and a few of its neighbouring countries - were off for the New Year holiday.

Three delegates from OPEC+ said that despite the high political tensions between Saudi Arabia and UAE regarding?Yemen, OPEC+ is likely to maintain a steady?oil production at its meeting 'on Sunday.

India wants refiners to provide weekly reports on oil purchases from the U.S. and Russia, according to sources familiar with the situation.
