European traders reported on Thursday that the Feed Leaders' Committee of South Korea has published an international tender for up to 130,000 tons animal feed wheat.

Also, the deadline for submitting price offers to the tender is Thursday, November 6

Two consignments are expected to arrive in South Korea in February and march 2026.

Wheat can come from anywhere in the world, except for Russia, Argentina China, Pakistan, and Denmark. The loading ports of Russia and Ukraine are not allowed to be used for wheat from any origin.

First shipment is expected to arrive around February 20. The first shipment was sought to arrive around February 20 if it originated from the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast, Australia, or Canadian West coast.

Shipments of European wheat via Cape of Good Hope (often undertaken to avoid attacks against shipping in the Red Sea) should take place between November 27 and December 27. Wheat from South America or South Africa should be shipped from December 7 to January 6 and wheat from South America between December 12 and January 21.

Second shipment to arrive around 10th March. The second shipment was to arrive around March 10. If the source is the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast, Australia, or Canadian West coast, the shipment will be between January 19 and February 18, if it comes from the U.S. Gulf, or Europe, the shipment will be between December 30 and January 29.

The European wheat that is to be transported via Cape of Good Hope must be shipped from South America from December 25-January 24, or from South Africa from January 9-February 8, (Reporting and editing by Ros Russell, Michael Hogan)
