Paul Tonko (D-N.Y.) holds a news conference to discuss the "Scientific Integrity Act," legislation "to establish certain scientific integrity policies for federal agencies that fund, conduct, or oversee scientific research" and to express the sense of Congress that "science, the scientific process, and the communication of science should be free from politics, ideology, and financial conflicts of interest."

11:30 a.m. -- (CONGRESS-DEMS-NOAA) RALLY -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) Reps. Jamie Raskin and Chris Van Hollen (both D-Md.) Lloyd Doggett, Suzanne Bonamici and Gabe Amo speak at the CCAN Action Fund rally for "their concerns over the proposed budget cuts by the administration and to express their support for fully funding NOAA."
