Manitowoc, Wis. shipbuilder Burger Boat Company announced it has delivered a new car/passenger ferry vessel to the Eastern Upper Peninsula Transportation Authority (EUPTA), located in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.The 92-foot U.S.-made steel ferry, Neebish Island III, will operate year-round on the St. Mary’s River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula between Barbeau, Mich., and Neebish Island. A collaboration was formed between Burger Boat Company – Monaco, Bentley-Cannes and HMS, audio visual systems to host a luxury brand Captain’s Happy Hour reception. The event drew nearly 70 guests who were entertained in the Bentley Automobile Showroom. Through the high tech world of HMS and their genius web rigging, attendees were able to view a live virtual tour of the new state-of-the-art Burger Shipyard in Manitowoc with President and CEO of Burger Boat Company, David Ross.
