The Jati Seven retains the major features of the Generation 2 version, but sports improved seakeeping and increased cargo carrying capacity and fuel efficiency.

Strategic Marine Scores Two Infrastructure Projects
Strategic Marine announced today it is constructing two marine infrastructure fabrication projects in its Vietnam shipyard. Both projects are for Australian clients. The first comprises three 60-meter pontoons and three 90-meter gangways for application in Gladstone Port Corporation's new tug base. The second is for Carnegie Wave Energy and comprises three Buoyant Actuators for a renewable wave energy and desalination project off the coast of Perth.
Strategic Marine Delivers Two Windfarm Service Vessels
Specialist boatbuilder Strategic Marine delivered the Njord Puffin to offshore windfarm service fleet operator Njord Offshore for deployment in Northern Europe. “The Puffin is the sixth in a series of eight vessels ordered, a strong signal of our commitment to the global windfarm industry,” said Rodney Davies, Operations Manager at Strategic Marine. “Last week we delivered the fifth, the Njord Petrel. The 21 metre multipurpose vessel was built at the company's recently expanded Singapore shipyard for Madliena Shipping (Jersey) Ltd and will be managed by Njord Offshore Limited, a subsidiary of Norse Management UK, to be employed in wind farm crew transfer and support in European waters.

Western Australian (WA) ship builder Strategic Marine has signed a contract with repeat client Offshore Plant Hire for the construction of a 24 meter heavy duty offshore cargo catamaran. The catamaran will be built at Strategic Marine's Singapore facility which is nearing the end of a major expansion program which will see the shipyard more than double its capacity. Western Australian ship builder Strategic Marine has signed a Sales & Service Agency agreement with UK-based marine and repair company Testbank Ship Repair Ltd. This is the first in a number of Sales & Service Agents which Strategic Marine announced it was developing in February 2012. This partnership has been formed as Strategic Marine and Testbank work together to provide marine, ship repair and through-life support services to the emerging offshore wind sector.

Australian shipbuilder Strategic Marine has started 2012 strongly, signing contracts to build eight 20 metre offshore wind farm crew transfer vessels (including options) for the European market. The company will also be establishing a Service Network in Europe to support the vessels it will be supplying to clients in the region. Strategic Marine Awarded Another Repeat Order
Strategic Marine has signed another repeat order with Western Australian company Bhagwan Marine to deliver two new vessels to service the WA's offshore oil and gas industry, including the Gorgon Project. The new contracts for a 49.5 metre and 38 metre landing craft follows the delivery of a 48 metre landing craft to join the Bhagwan Marine fleet late last year and a 27 metre work barge in March this year.

Western Australian owned international shipbuilding company Strategic Marine has been contracted to provide high-speed patrol vessels for the Australian Federal Police. The three 16 metre vessels will be manufactured for use by Indonesian authorities. Strategic Marine Launches Caballo Maya
Strategic Marine has successfully launched the first of two 496 ft Dive Supports Vessels, Caballo Maya (Hull 156) in Vietnam. The vessel was launched on the 5th of April, 2010, with the second vessel (Hull 157) approximately 90% complete and eight weeks from completion. “We were originally awarded the contract for Hull 156 in late 2006, and were engaged to exclusively carry out the steel fabrication works on the vessel,” explained Managing Director Mark Schiller.
