TDI-Brooks R/V Proteus Completes Shipyard Period, Returns to Service
TDI-Brooks’ multi-use oceanographic research vessel, the R/V PROTEUS has completed its full-term ABS shipyard period in Las Palmas.During the shipyard period, TDI-Brooks expanded the vessel’s hydrographic capabilities and upgraded the PROTEUS with the installation of a new Kongsberg EM302 deep-water multibeam system. The hull mounted 30kHz EM302 has a depth range of 7,000m and can be used for a variety of applications across a range of water depths.
TDI-Brooks Completes Subsea Cable Survey Project Offshore Alaska
TDI-Brooks recently completed a third-party geotechnical project offshore Alaska, supporting a short cable route survey for Woolpert utilizing their Gravity CPT Stinger (gCPT) system. The project consisted of a geophysical and geotechnical survey for a marine cable route in the Valdez Arm.Designed for rapid deployment in remote and challenging environments, the gCPT tool enables efficient in-situ soil characterization without the need for conventional drilling.
TDI-Brooks Completes Offshore Seismic, Geochemical Surveys
TDI-Brooks has successfully completed a 2D high-resolution shallow hazard seismic survey offshore Trinidad & Tobago. The acquired and processed lines support de-risking efforts for a planned offshore cluster installation, as well as the subsequent drilling of wells from this structure. Through the acquisition, processing, and interpretation of the 2D high-resolution seismic data, the identified areas of interest have been effectively evaluated and risk-reduced.

TDI-Brooks Completes Geological Assessment in the Gulf of Mexico
TDI-Brooks has recently finalized a geological evaluation in the Gulf of Mexico on behalf of Enbridge. For this project, TDI-Brooks utilized the R/V BROOKS MCCALL, executing 38 piston cores (PC), 7 gravity cone penetration tests (gCPTs), and 82 box cores (BC). TDI-Brooks has conducted previous geotechnical projects for Enbridge in the Gulf of Mexico. All samples gathered will be examined at TDI-Brooks' Geotechnical Laboratory located in College Station, Texas.

TDI-Brooks' newest vessel R/V Nautilus (formerly known as Nautical Geo) is ready to go to work following a 6-month retrofit period in Las Palmas.The DP2 vessel is currently enroute to the U.S. East Coast to provide support for offshore wind operations.
