Navigation Retrofit for Scandlines Ferries
L-3 SAM Electronics has announced that via its Danish subsidiary, L-3 Lyngsø Marine, it has been awarded a contract to retrofit navigation facilities aboard four double-ended passenger and freight ferries operated by the German-Danish ferry company, Scandlines. The four ships being retrofitted are the M/F Deutschland, M/F Prins Richard, M/F Prinsesse Benedikte and M/F Schleswig-Holstein, which all operate the short-distance route between Puttgarden, Germany, and Rødby, Denmark.
NAO's Quarterly Dividend Unchanged
The board of directors at Nordic American Offshore Ltd. have declared a dividend of $0.45 per common share for the fourth quarter of 2014. This is the same as for the first three quarters of 2014 for this newly established company which was stock listed on NYSE June 12, 2014. The payment of dividend is expected to take place on or about February 5, 2015 to shareholders of record as of January 22, 2015. NAO expects to release its 4Q2014 earnings report before NYSE opens February 3, 2015.
