Big Month for VT Halter’s Hornbeck OSV Series
VT Halter Marine, Inc., a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems, Inc., announced four separate shipbuilding milestones for the Offshore Supply Vessel (OSV) Super 320 Program underway for Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. Firstly, VT Halter Marine delivered HOS Captain on July 10. Five days later, VT Halter Marine hosted the christening ceremony of HOS Crestview held at the Pascagoula facility and launched HOS Caledonia at the Halter Moss Point facility on July 15.
Polarcus Tests Market, Improves Earnings
Polarcus Limited today announced the release of its second quarter 2014 financial statements in which it reported revenue rose 13% sequentially and 5% YoY to $137.6 million while. The company highlighted EBITDA of $49.9 million and EBIT of $23.8 million, a net profit increase to $9.2 million, from 6.3 million in Q2 2013, net cash flow from operations of $45.6 million, a strong Multi-Client prefunding of 92% and 30% reduced financing costs YoY with improved maturity profile.

Excelerate Energy, in cooperation with the Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority (PREPA), has received the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for its Aguirre Offshore Gasport Project (AOGP) located offshore Puerto Rico. The FERC staff concludes in its statement that the construction and operation of the Project would result in limited adverse environmental impacts that would mostly occur only during construction.
