The UK Club has launched its āiPANDIā iPad based app to provide up to date underwriting information for members and their insurance brokers, even when on the move. The iPANDI app downloads underwriting data via the Clubās IT systems and presents it conveniently in both graphic and table formats. The data can be viewed off line, for example on planes or away from the office. Security is maintained by a unique licence key to access member information.

IHC Merwede Constructs Three Pipelaying Vessels
IHC Merwede is building three 550t pipelaying vessels simultaneously at its Krimpen aan den IJssel yard in The Netherlands. The keel-laying ceremony for the first of two identical 550t pipelaying vessels for TL Offshore, a subsidiary of SapuraKencana, took place on Tuesday 15 January. This event was held one week ahead of the original schedule and was performed by Mr Darryl Peter Nelson, Project Director with TL Offshore.

Silversea Cruises expedition ship 'Silver Explorer' damaged and next cruise cancelled for repairs. The expedition ship Silver Explorer encountered heavy weather and sustained damage while on a cruise from the Argentinean port of Ushuaia to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula. President of TOTE Services, Captain Jorge Aguirre, retires after 33 years with the company, to be replaced by Retired Rear Admiral, U.S. Navy, Philip H.
