Phoenix Products Company, Inc. launched the instant-on, surface mounted MidLev Series, an LED fixture designed to replace low to mid-level wattage HID floodlights. By utilizing recessed optics, the MidLev Series is able to reduce glare typically associated with LED fixtures. The LED luminaire delivers up to 4,000 lumens and offers up to a 62% energy savings when compared to a 250W HID fixture. This IP66-rated series is ETL/cETL certified to UL 1598 Ordinary Location; 1598A Marine Outside Type (Saltwater); 844 Class I, Division 2, Class II, Division 1 Group F and Class II, Division 2 Hazardous Locations; and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0.
The MidLev Series uses fully-potted drivers and stranded wires in a multi-driver system that allows the fixture to remain partially illuminated in the event of a driver malfunction and protects against water ingress and damage from vibration. Available in 12, 24, 36, 60, and 96 watts, it offers multiple optical packages including spot, medium, and wide flood.
