AVEVA Sponsors Topsides 2013

Press Release

AVEVA showcases latest design and resource management software for the offshore industry at Texas conference.

AVEVA has announced  that it will once again sponsor the Opening Night Networking Reception at the upcoming Topsides Platforms & Hulls Conference and Exhibition 2013 (Topsides). AVEVA will also showcase its newest software technology including AVEVA Everything3D (AVEVA E3D) which enables Plant Design for Lean Construction, and AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management (AVEVA ERM), a complete application suite to optimise the materials management, planning and construction process. The conference runs February 5 to 7, 2013, at the Moody Gardens Convention Center in Galveston, Texas.

“Topsides 2013 is a great event at which to showcase these two very exciting products that we have just launched. In fact, this will be the first chance for the North American Offshore sector to see this new technology,” said William Muldoon, Executive Vice President, AVEVA. “There is a continuing shift to deeper water for offshore exploration and production. Our software has been used on some of the the largest, most complex offshore projects in the world and the new AVEVA E3D and AVEVA ERM will help our customers meet the challenges of these environments. AVEVA has an impressive track record in the offshore industry and we’re very keen to share our experience in the design, construction and operation of FPSOs and platform topsides.

AVEVA E3D drives the adoption of Lean Construction by enabling Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors (EPCs) to break down barriers between design and construction, reducing project costs, schedules and risk. AVEVA ERM gives EPCs a next-generation resource management solution enabling them to minimise risk and maximise profit, while delivering projects on time.

“Alongside our existing offerings which allow Owner Operators and EPCs to collaborate and monitor project performance through handover, and those to manage asset performance during the operational life of a facility, AVEVA will demonstrate how its solutions deliver significant business value across the entire end-to-end Offshore asset lifecycle”, added Mr Muldoon.

Topsides 2013 kicks off February 5 with the AVEVA sponsored networking reception from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in the exhibition hall. The conference and exhibition begins the next morning. Visit AVEVA at booth 700.
