Tunisia purchases 75,000 T of soft wheat at tender, traders claim
In an international auction held on Thursday, the Tunisian state grain agency bought about 75,000 metric tonnes of soft wheat from origins that were optional.
The wheat was bought in three consignments of 25,000 tons each. The traders had estimated that the total purchased was 100,000 tons.
The trading house Raya sold one at $262.57 per ton, cost and freight included. Trading house Dreyfus sold two consignments of 25,000 tons at $262.50 per ton, cost and freight included (c&f).
The reports reflect the opinions of traders, and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later.
Shipping was requested between October 10 and 20 depending on origin. (Reporting and editing by Susan Fenton, Michael Hogan)
