Posted to Maritime Reporter on September 3, 2025

European traders reported that the Tunisian state grain agency purchased approximately 125,000 metric tonnes of soft wheat from origins other than Tunisia in a Wednesday international tender.

The lowest estimated price was $255.86 per ton, cost and freight included.

All other consignments sold for estimated prices of $257.42, $256.43, and $256.43 per ton, c&f.

They said that Bunge Trading House was believed to be the seller of all five consignments.

The reports reflect the opinions of traders and it is still possible to estimate prices and volume later.

Shipping was requested between October 1, and November 20, depending upon the origin provided.

Tunisia's grain agency bought about 75,000 tonnes of wheat in its last tender, which was reported on August 7. Michael Hogan (reporting, editing)
