Tunisia receives offers for 50,000 T of corn, traders report

Posted to Maritime Reporter on July 9, 2025

European traders reported that the lowest price offered by Tunisian's state grain agency ONF in its international tender on Wednesday for about 50,000 tons of animal feed was $244.69 per ton, including freight and cost.

No purchase has been made yet, but offers are still being evaluated. If the conditions are not attractive, then it is unlikely that the lowest offer will be accepted.

Two consignments totaling 25,000 tons are required, with one shipment to be shipped between July 25-August 25 and the second between September 25-October 25. The reports reflect the assessments of traders, and future estimates of volumes and prices are possible.

Tunisia did not purchase any feed corn in its previous tender on July 3, when the lowest price was believed to have been $258.49 per ton c&f.
