European traders claim that Tunisia's state grain agency purchased approximately 25,000 metric tons of animal feed barley in an international auction on Friday. Barley was bought from a trading house called 'Ameropa in one consignment for an estimated $265.45 per ton, including freight and cost.

Initial assessments by European traders indicated that the lowest price in a Friday international tender for a purchase of around 25,000 metric tons (mt) of animal feed barley from Tunisia's grain agency was $265.45 per tonne, cost and freight included.
