The US Coast Guard and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have compiled a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and associated responses on the North American Emissions Control Area (ECA). Also included at the end of the document is a list of questions which are currently under review by the USCG/EPA. The USCG will update the FAQs on a monthly basis (or sooner). In response to its continued global expansion, leading international classification society ABS has strengthened its executive leadership team with the election of Tony Nassif as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the society. The election was made by the ABS Board of Directors at its meeting this week. Nassif moves to ABS from his position as President and CEO of the societyâs wholly owned affiliate, ABS Group of Companies Inc.
