GE's fleet of LM aeroderivative gas turbines has established a major industry milestone,surpassing 50 million hours of operation in a wide spectrum of industrial and marine applications around the world.
Derived from GE's aircraft engine technology and incorporating the latest technical advancements, LM gas turbines continue to perform at high levels of availability and reliability. The LM fleet now has grown to more than 2,700 machines worldwide.
Through its aeroderivative gas turbine business, GE provides power packages ranging from 2 to 50 megawatts for simple-cycle, combined-cycle or
cogeneration applications in the utility, private and mobile power industries. Marine applications for these machines range from commercial
fast ferries and cruise ships to military patrol boats, frigates, destroyers
and aircraft carriers.
