Clayton To Join Clarkson Board
Clarkson PLC announced that Marie-Louise Clayton will join the Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 January 2017. She will take over as Chair of the Audit Committee following the Annual General Meeting in May 2017 when James Morley, who has been a Non-Executive Director for nine years, will retire from the Board. Marie-Louise Clayton brings a wealth of financial and strategic experience from a broad range of businesses from technology and manufacturing to sugar processing, power and energy. Rolls-Royce Appoints Ruth Cairnie as Non-Executive Director
Rolls-Royce is pleased to announce that Ruth Cairnie has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2014. Ruth Cairnie was formerly Executive Vice President Strategy & Planning at Royal Dutch Shell Plc, where she held a number of senior international roles, including managing the Global Commercial Fuels business. She served on the boards of Shell Pakistan Ltd and joint venture companies in Germany and Thailand. She is currently a Non-Executive Director of Associated British Foods plc and Keller Group plc. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Rotterdam School of Management. Ruth graduated in Joint Honours Mathematics & Physics from Bristol University and then took a Masters in Advanced Studies, Maths, at Cambridge University.
