Leading ergonomic marine seating manufacturer STIDD Systems, Inc. and Ultrafabrics LLC, manufacturer of eco-friendly Fusion fabric, introduced the first helm seats covered in Fusion at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Soft but durable, water-repellent, antimicrobial and stain-resistant Fusion contains no plasticizers, heavy metals or stabilizers and is free of VOCs, POPs, HFRs and formaldehyde. Most spills clean up easily with mild soap and water – no harsh cleaners or chemicals are needed. The fabric manufacturing process captures 99% of the solvents used in production.
