Bradford Serves First Freeport Customer

Bradford Grand Bahama, Ltd. (Bradford Marine Bahamas), a member of the Bradford Marine family of companies, has announced that a 241-ft. Amels-built vessel was the first super-yacht to refuel at its new 1,200-ft. dockage facility. Bradford’s Freeport, Grand Bahama shipyard features 35-ft. depth, a 1,200-ton floating drydock, and a 150-ton Travelift and provides towing, salvage, and vessel brokerage services.

Bradford Marine Bahamas Completes New Docks

Bradford Grand Bahama, Ltd., one of the Bradford Marine family of companies, announced the completion of 1,200 lineal feet of new docks on the west side of their Freeport, Grand Bahama shipyard. These new docks accommodate yachts and commercial vessels of all sizes, including the largest mega-yachts and super-yachts, and they have full utilities, drainage and work aprons. Construction of the docks utilized almost 2,000 feet of steel pipe and 3,000 feet of 16 inch steel I-beam. Paul Engle, Bradford Marine Bahamas’ President, said “We are very excited about these new docks and our ability to service even more mega and super-yachts and commercial vessels. Bradford Marine Bahamas’ shipyard in Freeport, Grand Bahama has a 35-foot depth, a 1,200-tonne floating drydock, and a 150-tonne Travelift.
