Anti-pollution and environmental compliance are key concerns in today’s world. This led to the creation of the Wärtsilä Airguard sealing solution in 1998, and since then, Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions has equipped many new build vessels and have undertaken retrofit and upgrade installations. The success of our environmentally compliant solution is attributed towards its design and technology. This has enabled Wärtsilä Shaft Line Solutions to develop its solution, creating a new two-pipe sealing system which uses the same proven technology but provides enhanced lubrication through a streamlined design.
