IMCA’S New Guidance on Mooring Practice
Ships enter and leave ports regularly. Tying up a ship when alongside a berth or another vessel is potentially a very hazardous operation, unless simple and effective safety procedures are followed. ‘Mooring Practice Safety Guidance for Offshore Vessels when Alongside in Ports and Harbours’ (IMCA SEL 029/M 214), the latest publication from the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) is designed to ensure safe mooring with zero incidents.

SENER Wins its First China Marine Engineering Contract
The SENER contracts are with the Chinese CSDDC ((China Ship Development and Design Center) & CSOC (China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co. Ltd). Kleven Maritime to Build LNG-powered PSV for Remøy Shipping
The vessel is to be built at Kleven Maritime’s shipyard Kleven Verft. Total contract value for Kleven is around 400 million NOK. AIDA Cruise Ships Given Top Safety Rating by ADAC
ADAC performed independent safety tests on board 10 cruise ships in the Mediterranean.
