Coast Guard rescues three people... and a cat

U.S. Coast Guard personnel rescued three people and a cat from a sailing vessel taking on water in inclement weather off the California coast.

Coast Guard Station Morro Bay Motor Lifeboat crews arrived on scene near Point Piedras Blancas, Calif., to assist the vessel in distress on February 12, 2018.

The three people and their cat were hoisted into a Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco Forward Operating Base Point Mugu MH-65 Dolphin helicopter and transported to Paso Robles Airport.
