GOST Debuts New Technology at Workboat

Maritime Activity Reports, Inc.

December 1, 2015

GOST (Global Ocean Security Technologies), celebrating its 10th year as a world leader in marine security, tracking, monitoring and video surveillance systems, announced today that it will highlight its newest commercial marine products at the 2015 International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, December 1 through 3rd. GOST will be located in booth 1556.

Offering cutting edge security and monitoring solutions for commercial vessels, GOST will proudly highlight its GOST Watch HD H2O System. Designed to withstand the rigors of commercial maritime use, the GOST Watch HD H2O is a revolutionary video surveillance system, housed in a compact, IP67-certified waterproof, impact-resistant, fiberglass container. The unit can be installed quickly and includes a high-speed 4G LTE data communicator, gateways for up to five cameras, a control unit and a GOST Watch HD Internet Video Recorder.

The GOST Watch HD H2O allows for 90 days of continuous recording and the ability to watch and control cameras online securely from anywhere in the world using a simple web interface. This product is used to deliver offsite streaming video to many local and federal municipalities.

GOST will also showcase its GOST EZ-Tracker. The device provides location information for vessels and will send vessel name, latitude, longitude, speed and heading at preselected intervals. The EZ-Tracker is 100% self-sustaining and does not need to be connected to external power due to its long-life lithium ion battery.

It can send 2 reports a day for up to 5 years and is perfect for deployment where there is no external power source. The EZ-Tracker is accessible through a secure website for tracking a stolen vessel and/or to notify the Coast Guard if there is a deviation from the float plan.

“We are thrilled to showcase GOST Watch HD H2O and the GOST EZ-Tracker at this year’s International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans,” said Jay Keenan, president and CEO, GOST. “We welcome this opportunity to meet with our customers and prospective clients to demonstrate the outstanding capabilities provided by our technologies. Our latest products in our award-winning line of monitoring, tracking and surveillance systems are a perfect fit for the commercial market.”
